Tai Chi Attuned to Nature

Tai Chi by the Sea is led by Heather McLean, assisted by her husband Jeffrey Greenfield, at beautiful Winslow Park in Freeport. Heather teaches the Tung family lineage of tai chi chuan. Tai chi chuan, is a martial art, and has also evolved into a graceful practice that reduces stress, improves balance, strength, flexibility, and provides a host of other health benefits. Postures flow with the breath, and the body remains in constant motion throughout practice. Tai Chi by the Sea is held outdoors, year-round. The energy of the sun, water, and fresh air enhance the experience of moving slowly in rhythm with nature.
